One off the trips with friends sometime in March 2010. It was an awesome drive however there was no road that existed to the homestay. A very memorable trip though! Some pictures below:

Photo Log 4 - Kalathil Backwater Resort, Vaikom

Am mentioning about this resort here because we went there right during the monsoons and we were the only couple in the whole resort and enjoyed the 3 day rains thoroughly!!!

Photo Log 3 - Sadras aka Sadurangapatinam

A quick half day get away from Chennai. Located off the ECR at Kalpakkam. 

A nice fort established as part of the Dutch Coromandel in the 17th century for commercial purposes which was later raided by the British and came under the British East India Company.

This trip happened sometime in November 2011 and it was absolutely dry and hot. Wrong season we travelled in. The same place would have been a bliss in monsoons! Hence best recommended during or post monsoons. Here is a glimpse of the place!!!
